Octopus Monster

The Creature That Broke Out of the Deep (and My Comfort Zone)

Here's a little secret nobody tells you when you start 3D modeling: monsters are the best place to begin. No rules. No "that nose isn't quite right." No anatomical perfection required. When I made this guy, I was still very much a newbie — and honestly? That's exactly why he turned out so gloriously unhinged. The lumpy skull, the wild spikes, the curling tentacles... none of it was supposed to be "perfect." And that's the whole point.

Meet the Octopus Monster — part deep-sea nightmare, part desktop companion, 100% yours to make your own.

What You're Getting

  • 🐙 A chunky, character-packed octopus monster with a spiky skull head, googly-eyed expression, and eight curling tentacles dripping with texture
  • 💀 Skull-like face details with hollow eyes and bumpy, organic surface texture that looks intentionally wild (because it is)
  • 🦠 Spikes, nodules, and ridges all over — this thing has personality in every layer
  • 🎨 Total color freedom — print it in a single color, swap filaments mid-print for a gradient effect, or print it white and go full artist mode with paints or markers
  • 📐 Beginner-friendly design — no supports nightmare, no impossible overhangs, just a fun print that rewards experimentation
