Panda in Teacup

Waking up to a failed 3D print after waiting over 36 hours is a feeling every maker dreads. I was so excited to see this adorable panda in a teacup finished, but instead, I found a total disaster waiting for me. 🐼☕

There is honestly nothing like the heartbreak of checking your printer and seeing a massive pile of plastic spaghetti instead of the cute model you planned. This print was more than a day and a half into the process when things finally went off the rails. It was so close to being done, which makes this epic fail even more painful to look at. 📉 In this video, I am sharing the messy reality of what happened when I walked into the room this morning. We have all dealt with printer issues, but this one really stands out as a classic 3D printing fail. Between the layer shifts and the tangled mess of filament, it is a complete catastrophe.

😵‍💫 Even though this project did not turn out how I hoped, these moments are just part of the 3D printing journey. You have to take the wins with the losses, even when the losses involve 36 hours of wasted time and material. Sometimes the biggest fails are the best way to learn what to fix for the next round.
